Anonymous asked: Do you have any advice or tips for getting over Marvel? I've been reading comics by Marvel for most my life but for the past year I haven't had an ounce of enjoyment and have instead constantly battled with serious anger and depression problems brought on by your creative output and business practices.

Sorry you feel that way. All I can tell you is that there are still fifty years worth of back issues you can read, as well as films and animation. And there are also a lot of other different kinds of comics you could look into, too. But if you’re having serous anger and depression problems brought on by our books, that’s a pretty clear sign that you should probably step away from them for awhile. And you never know, things could be more to your liking when you return.

I carry no brief for Marvel – I AM still buying some of their products, but their overall direction as a company and a creative enterprise saddens me, ‘cause I’m pretty clear on the fact that I’m not the demographic they’re interested in – but I just want to point out what a class act Tom Brevoort is in this response.
