Anonymous asked: Tom, why do you edit comics? You're really really really really really bad at it. And your defense is always "the story comes before continuity". If that is the case, why bother with an editor?

Fortunately for me, the people I work for disagree with your assessment. But you’re entitled to your opinion. You do seem to have a misplaced understanding of what the job entails, though. There’s tons and tons more to editing comics than maintaining the continuity, and there always has been.

I think this person has Brevoort mixed up with a research assistant.
