Well, the problem you’ve got there is that Jean is dead.

Thank God someone in the editorial offices understands that!

Whew, it’s good to know she’s *dead* and there’s no fear of her coming back, because this is comics, and that NEVER happens!

And added bonus sarcasm because there’s two versions of Jean currently running around the MU right now.

Oh, come on, Pho; you know perfectly well that the person’s obviously talking about Adult Jean, who is currently dead.  Young Jean isn’t developed enough as a character to handle a title of her own as yet.

And… honestly — I mean, I know I’ve said this before to you, but lemme just say here that I’d be all about the original Jean returning from the dead, ‘cause I love her (especially if we could jettison that horrifyingly badly-written Phoenix Force nonsense) if I thought we could trust the Marvel staff to treat her with the slightest bit of respect and allow her to grow as a character.But we can’t.  Please examine the entire 1990s for my evidence.
